Redesigned Tata Aria's instrument cluster. This was an interesting project for me because unlike other systems we had more color options avaialble for the design. Here are final designs:

I came up with these visual iteractions for fuel and heat indicators. I try to come up with various iterations for important UI objects using minimal design and then finalize based on feedback from some colleagues.

Designed a very simple screen flow to get an idea about information architecture and no. screens to be designed.

Mahindra wanted an improvement in experience in it's SUV's infotainment system.

I started the redesign cycle by performing heuristic evaluation of the system. Heuristic evalution was categorized in three areas: Ease of understanding, Ease of Reading and Ease of Interaction. Observation was done on the screenshots of the system, kiosk at the office and the system used live in the car. I analised almost 135 screens of the system and came up with documentation of all the issues with the current system as shown in the document below. Also, set the priority and strategized the redesign into different stages.
